How we got here

From product idea to
recognised practice.

Nomicore did not begin as a consulting firm. It began as a product — an AI Shopping Companion built to solve a problem we kept seeing: customers couldn't find what they actually needed, and merchants had no idea why.

2025 — Founding
Nomicore is established

Yuriy Fedoronchuk and Alec Bedzir founded Nomicore with one observation at its core: the most valuable asset in most businesses is the expertise that never makes it into a system. They set out to change that — using AI to capture, structure, and deploy knowledge at scale. The legal entity, InternationalSourcingAgency OÜ, was incorporated in Estonia.

2025 — First product
The AI Shopping Companion ships

Rather than starting with client work, the founding team built their own product first: an AI-powered shopping companion that transforms e-commerce search into a guided, intent-driven experience. Instead of customers typing keywords and hoping for the best, the Companion understands the problem they are trying to solve — and assembles a complete solution, including products they didn't know they needed.

2025 — Industry recognition
Adobe Rockstar Finalist

The AI Shopping Companion is selected as a finalist for the Adobe Rockstar 2025 award — one of the most competitive recognitions in the Adobe Commerce and Magento ecosystem. The nomination connects Nomicore with key players in enterprise e-commerce and opens doors to new partnerships across the industry.

2025 — Strategic partnership
Accelerated by AWS

Amazon recognises the commercial potential of the AI Shopping Companion and accepts Nomicore into the AWS Startup Program. The partnership provides funding, cloud infrastructure support, and a co-development relationship with AWS — validating both the technology and the market opportunity behind it.

2025–2026 — Client practice
From product to practice

With a proven product and two major validations behind it, Nomicore expanded into a forward-deployed AI engineering practice. The same depth of thinking that went into building the Companion became the methodology applied to every client engagement. Today Nomicore has delivered projects spanning 400,000-manual automotive platforms, 10,000-SKU technical manufacturing, and multi-storefront licensed merchandise retail.
